Program Description

HVAC Residential

The HVAC program offers classroom theory as well as hands-on experience with applied technician HVAC courses.

Training focuses on heating, ventilation and air conditioning maintenance and repair. Further courses teach refrigeration management, electrical circuits, HVAC/R computer fundamentals, and customer service and safety.

After graduation from this program, you will be prepared for entry-level apprenticeships.


A school externship is a part of this program and assigns you to a partnering company for 135 hours, giving the student the opportunity to put his/her new skills to use and gain real-life career training experience. Plus, after you graduate, our Lifetime Career Placement Support program will be there to help you find work whenever you need it.

Envision a Comfortable Future

HVAC systems are constantly running and are always going to need maintenance and repair. Our heating, ventilation, air conditioning residential program offers training in all phases of repair and maintenance of residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, systems. The HVAC technician program also includes the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certifications in the management of refrigerants and North American Technicians Excellence (NATE) Certifications.

Paying for College

Financial assistance is available to those who qualify. ICT offers a range of tuition payment options. Our college is approved to work with VA Education and Training benefit programs that offer assistance to those who have served and their qualifying family members.
